Sacred Spaces Sunday – Clearing Negative Energy from Your New Home – Part Two

In this post I am going to share a three-part process for a total of nine steps to achieve a clean, neutral energy home. We want a neutral energy in order to have a “clean slate” on which to build our life’s desire.

Create an altar or Sacred Space anywhere in the home, especially in an area of love or the center of the house. Here on the client's piano where her daughter's practice is deemed a sacred space since the girls love to play and the parents love to listen and watch. We used the surface of the piano as a location to focus the loving energy in the home to bless it.

The 3-part, 9-steps process to clean and bless a home (Do as many of them as you can in order):
Part One:
1) Physically clean the home thoroughly using natural cleaners like vinegar and baking soda when possible.
Part Two:
2) Bring in candles symbolizing the “light of a Higher Power” and light them.
3) Add some flowers placing them in as many of the rooms as possible.
4) Go through the home making loud noises like clapping your hands or beating a drum. Shake up and disturb the stuck energy in every corner of each room and the home.
5) Open the doors and windows to let the negative energy out and the fresh air in.
6) Walk through each room in a clockwise direction consciously “sweeping” the energy out of the house through the open doors and windows. Using your hands as the “broom” is the easiest and best way to do this. (It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it does have to be INTENTIONAL.)
7) Play some beautiful music – classical, light jazz, inspirational, chats, etc. – throughout the home.
Part Three:
8) Set up an altar or special area as the ritual “heart” of the home.
9) Ask for the “heart of the home” to come and reside in or near the center of the house.

I can’t tell you how many homes I have found that don’t have a “heart”. There is no love in these houses. I usually find the heart outside by the front door unless the home has experienced some really bad things. Then the heart might be at the edge of the property or even across the street. YOU can find it just by “calling it to come back and into the house.”

In my classes I talk about these steps and various rituals to make your homes “Healthy, High-vitality Homes with a Heart”.
